Bodega Cerro Chapeu

1752 Gran Tradición Antiguas cosechas

We learned from Quico Carrau Pujol that we should always save at least 30 bottles of each vintage to be able to have witnesses of the evolution of the fruit of our vines.

Today we open our family reserve to share with you some of the best vintages of a very special wine, the 1752 Gran Tradición, a blend based on Tannat that, depending on the vintage, was chosen to include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and even some Arinarnoa barrels. .

This wine honors the family's tradition of making wines since 1752 at its origins in Catalonia.

We suggest using a pressure blade corkscrew to open your bottle and decant the wine, taking care to remove any sediment at least 2 hours before consuming it. Consume at 18°C.

Vintages 1989, 1991 and 1995 do not have a self-adhesive label. They have a letter with product information and sealing wax on the cork.

The price includes wooden case and home delivery in Montevideo. Delivery may present some delays, so we consider allowing at least 4 business days to receive your order.
